Jan Koe has a 30-year track record of success in consulting, asset management, leasing, and development gained at Method K and prior positions with nationally active real estate. He has represented major insurance firms with large real estate holdings as well as national retailers and Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Koe’s current activity includes providing a variety of real estate services to the medical industry including serving as a real estate consultant for several prominent Chicago-area medical institutions.
He is currently involved in consulting Mertz Development Inc. for the annexation and development of the new Huntley, Illinois, downtown project. Mr. Koe is also an advisor to real estate management companies and is currently the general manager of RE Solutions Management LLC, and development Finance Solutions LLC, a mezzanine real estate lender under an agreement with Go Star Inc.
Mr. Koe is past president of four professional organizations: The Chicago Metropolitan Building Managers Association, the Chicago Suburban Building Owners and Managers Association, the O’Hare Group, and the Chicagoland Association of Shopping Center Owners. He has achieved the Real Property Administrator designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute. Mr. Koe presently serves as director of several not-for-profit civic organizations and corporate entities.
